Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word derived from two roots which means science of life. It has its roots in the ancient Vedic literature and encompasses all our life, body, mind and spirit. According to Ayurveda, there are seven body types: mono (type kapha, pitta or Vata predominant of any one dosha), dual - either pitta-kapha or vata-pitta otherwise kapha-vata and Equal: in this kind the doshas (the Vata, pitta and kapha)would be in equal proportions. Every individual has a certain connection with these three dosha.

Ayurveda is the only science that tells us how good health and a quality of life is extremely beneficial for living without diseases. As mentioned in the ancient texts of ayurveda there are two types of regime that must be followed. These are: Plan for the Day - it deals with everything that is needed in a daily routine. Ayurveda believes that a person should wake up early in the morning about half an hour before the sun rises and should brush their teeth, take a bath. After that he should worship the supreme power and only then, should have a meal.

It was mentioned that the person must have his dinner before sunset. He should relax and must spend his time with his family. It was also said that what should be the atmosphere of the place where he should have his bed and the direction in which he would sleep. The winter time depression is found in Vata prakritti Constitution. A mixture (This mix prevents washing of the natural oil from the skin) of flour yellow gram (channa), green gram (Kapha), fenu Greek seeds (methi) in equal proportions is the best scrub made from plants that can be used to remove the oil. Use Vata balancing foods such as oil,black gram, wheat, corn and jaggery. Spend your free time with friends and relatives whom you wish, Consume hot soups. Always wear foot wear. Kapha Balances: peaches, broccoli, cranberries, apples, celery, garlic, berries, spicy, bitter vegetables, cherries, mangoes and onion. Kapha get Worsen by coconut, Sweet and sour fruit, vegetables, melon, papaya, potatoes, bananas, tomatoes. Vata Balances: bananas, berries, Sweet fruit, beets, grapes, melons, cucumbers, garlic, radishes. Vata get Worsen by apples, pears, melons, cabbage, cauliflower, cranberries, dried fruits, broccoli and raw onions. Eat seasonal fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains. Eat according to your constitution or dosha and get established in proper diet. You also should limit caffeine and alcohol. You can drink herbal teas, fruit juices and vegetables

Ayurveda for hypertension: With the guidance, you can try some of these remedies of Ayurveda if they prove helpful in controlling your blood pressure, you can gradually reduce your medication and replace. Some causes of hypertension include anger and anxiety, physical and emotional stress. Tensions at work or stressful situations can also give blood pressure. Vata is responsible for the constriction of blood vessels, happens to people in their old age around 65. Brahmi 4 parts ,Jatamamsi 3 parts, Musta 3 parts, Shatavari 5 parts -Prepare the mixture, and take 1 / 2 teaspoon twice a day in the morning and evening after breakfast and dinner with warm water. Shake the pan and remove from heat. Set aside to cool. Next stir yogurt and cucumber in a bowl and add the spices cooled. Mix well and serve a meal.
