The purpose of Ayurveda: The Ayurvedic approach is growing in popularity because it is full. Life science is what Ayurveda in Sanskrit. It is derived from two words “Ayu” and ‘Veda’. Ayurveda is not only a system of preventive health care; It is a way of life and approximatly Ayurveda has its origins in ancient India 8,000 years ago. Under this system, health is determined in three Doshas. The 3 Doshas are namely Vata, Pitta and Kapha. They thought to be organizing structure,movement and metabolism. The body, mind and spirit are free of the disorder of any kind when the “Doshas” are in the balanced condition. So,Balance is the key. unhealthy habits, pollution,Poor diet and other similar things are just some of the reasons that lead to an imbalance.

Ayurveda focuses on the use of the mind, body and spirit to prevent and combat diseases. Thus, it is working to restore the innate harmony of the individual. The main objective of Ayurveda is to synchronize and coordinate the functions of the organization in identifying the imbalance in the body. The underlying principle is that if the roots are well watered, the plant will bloom. Sleep, food, internal cleaning and lifestyle are more important than herbs. Ayurvedic texts underline ahara (food) as vital for the promotion of health and happiness. Diagnosis according to Ayurveda is to find the cause of a disease. An adverse effect on health that may result from an imbalance in the three Doshas and science of Ayurveda is used to reduce this imbalance. The principles of Ayurveda can help you in simple ways to restore the balance as soon as possible.

Herbs like gotu kola, abundant, yohimbe, yashtimadhu, Brahmi, Werner, ginkgo are now acquired worldwide. Western scientists have spent a lot of time and research to investigate the properties of these plants. In each test they conduct, their belief in the powers of Ayurveda is strengthening. Garlic, onion and ginger are now used throughout the world for several medicinal reasons. It was confirmed that garlic can be extremely beneficial in reducing cholesterol and increasing longevity. However it was Ayurveda which was the first to bring the healing properties of these herbs in the spotlight. There are several other plants that have given their importance by Ayurveda first. Some of them are fenugreek, rauwolfia, zizzyphus, licorice, dandelion, lemon, the betel nuts, cardamom, cumin seeds, cinnamon etc.

The initial reluctance for using a method of Indian medicine has been decreasing away. Many Americans and Europeans are choosing Ayurveda instead other methods and therapies. Ayurvedic medicines are widely used in western for enhancing tonic, the treatment of infertility in men and women, breast enhancement and weight loss.
