Ayurvedic health system is a science that deals with the maintenance of health. Ayurveda has a divine origin. The science of ayurveda was a gift from the Lord Brahma in the world. But if we see things in reality we can say that Ayurveda is a science that grew with the observation and a basis of three doshas ie Vata, pitta and kapha. The diseases have been developed over time and research had been conducted continuously to reach a decision. Several books have been written about this research and then were taught to the students. These education centers could be compared to modern universities and was funded by the various kings and extremely rich people.
The ayurveda and its practitioners were treated with the utmost respect and honored constantly with gifts and wealth by kings and rich people. With such a prosperous situation ayurveda reached new heights. More and more people began to adopt ayurveda professionally. All eight parts of ayurveda achieved its new development. Even surgery has reached its peck development and operations have been performed with further progress. Wire medicated surgeries were performed with perfection without letting the blood.
Ayurvedic texts talks about herbs and their properties. This information is very necessary in the prescription of a patient with supplements which is useful in the treatment of the disease. Several drugs and food have also been mentioned. The principle of ayurveda is to maintain the health of an individual and to treat a person with any kind of disease. Ayurveda focuses on the different lifestyles that will keep a person healthy and disease-free. For almost all the ancient texts of Ayurveda contain a chapter dealing with the daily dose and methods that assist in maintaining health in the best form. Therefore, it would be wrong to say that ayurveda is just another drug. It was a science that developed after a lot of observation and is being tested. So there is no chance that will be bad for our health and we will be benefited with no side effects that modern medicines cast on us.
