The raw food diet is based on the raw food. This connects the mind with the body; Ayurveda and raw diet are very similar. In Ayurveda it is estimated that each person is governed by a dominant dosha, and you should eat according to your dosha. The Ayurvedic approach to life involves listening and responding to the unique needs of your body, recognizing and balancing your mental and emotional states and deepening your connection with your spirit, your essential self.

In Ayurveda, the idea is that you eat according to your dosha; Vata, pitta and kapha. Vata is composed of the elements of air and ether, Pitta is composed of elements of fire and water and Kapha is composed of the elements of water and earth. Vata types personalities are generally thin and struggling to gain weight. Vatas need to get plenty of rest and not to exaggerate things, because they can easily become tired. Pitta types are usually medium-sized and well-proportioned. They also tend to be intelligent. Kapha types tend to be heavy and gain weight easily. They have a positive attitude about life.

Pitta Balances: mangoes, plums, Sweet fruit, cabbage, sweet and bitter vegetables, cucumbers, coconuts, potatoes. Pitta gets Worsen by oranges, plums, lemons, Sour fruits, garlic, bananas and onions. Kapha Balances: peaches, broccoli, cranberries, apples, celery, garlic, berries, spicy, bitter vegetables, cherries, mangoes and onion. Kapha get Worsen by coconut, Sweet and sour fruit, vegetables, melon, papaya, potatoes, bananas, tomatoes. Vata Balances: bananas, berries, Sweet fruit, beets, grapes, melons, cucumbers, garlic, radishes. Vata get Worsen by apples, pears, melons, cabbage, cauliflower, cranberries, dried fruits, broccoli and raw onions. Eat seasonal fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains. Eat according to your constitution or dosha and get established in proper diet. You also should limit caffeine and alcohol. You can drink herbal teas, fruit juices and vegetables

Ayurveda for hypertension: With the guidance, you can try some of these remedies of Ayurveda if they prove helpful in controlling your blood pressure, you can gradually reduce your medication and replace. Some causes of hypertension include anger and anxiety, physical and emotional stress. Tensions at work or stressful situations can also give blood pressure. These conditions of the constriction of blood vessels can increase blood pressure over a long period.

Vata is responsible for the constriction of blood vessels, happens to people in their old age around 65. The walls of the blood vessels thicken and the transition becomes narrower which results in high blood pressure. Pitta, on the other hand, is linked with more blood force, increasing blood pressure. As Vata kapha too narrows the arteries, but it is due to fatty deposits in the arterial wall.
